1947 Ken-Skill Suspension & Wheels

I pulled one of the wheels off to check the suspension and to see what bolt pattern the hubs are. The original wheels should be 6-lug 16" Chevrolet truck wheels. The hubs are 5-lug 4 1/2" (Ford/Chrysler) pattern and the wheel adapters are made to mount 5-lug 4 3/4" (GM) wheels. I thought about using Ford 16" wire wheels which have a 5-lug 5 1/2" bolt pattern.

I finally found some wheels that fit the trailer. They are 16 x 4 1/2" Dodge truck wheels. Very hard to find but they fit the suspension and also allow me to use the same dog-dish hub caps that came on my Dodge wagon.
